Pristine Communications is a multilingual services and technology provider based in Taipei, Taiwan whose mission is to enable cross-cultural communication, understanding and interaction. We also care deeply about the world in which we live.

Our Journey
It's been a long path, officially starting in 1993. Yet, our earliest focus on enhancing and growing communication between Taiwan and the world has stayed true throughout. And, in many ways, our journey is a reflection of how Taiwan has developed and changed over these 30 years to become a vibrant participant in the global economy while also striving to reconcile and newly appreciate its cultural and environmental richness.
Along the way, we have assisted organizations seeking to connect and broaden their purview beyond Taiwan's shores, pioneered the earliest business use of information and Internet technology here in Taiwan, guided and led government communications initiatives to connect with international businesses and NGOs, established standards for legal translation, and became leading experts on translating and editing specialized academic and technical content, particularly in the areas of biomedicine, ecology and sustainability, from English and Chinese into the world's languages, highlighting Taiwan's growing contributions to the world.

從一開始，精粹就一直由其親力親為的創始人 Philip Diller 狄聖道和 Tammy Turner 唐敏所經營。 懷著創建一家社會企業的共同願景，專注於從我們在台灣、我們的祖國和我們深度旅行過的地方的獨特生活視角出發，實現有效的跨文化交流。

Our Team
From the beginning, Pristine Communications has been and continues to be managed by its very hands-on founders and owners, Philip Diller and Tammy Turner. With a shared vision of creating a social enterprise that focuses on enabling effective cross-cultural communication from our unique perspective of life here in Taiwan, our home countries and the places we've traveled.
Together, Philip and Tammy have always sought to create holistic solutions to our client's projects and challenges. Having deep knowledge in technological fields and communications through his pioneering work in multiple languages, systems development, data mining, knowledge management and deep learning, Philip focuses our process and quality management as well as standards development for content related to new technologies. Tammy, on the other hand, brings her integrated knowledge of human cultures and languages with the natural sciences by way of her permaculture design and education work to reach diverse audiences around the world.
Our team also includes a community of professional translators, editors and a domain knowledge experts within Taiwan and around the world. Many of these people have worked with us for a decade or more, forming collaborative relationships in the developing and shifting ecology of language-based services.

Our Approach
Given our relatively long history of handling multi-year, multilingual communications projects from concept creation, process design, systems build-out, topical and regulatory research, writing, processing of legacy content (you wouldn't believe how much work this is...but dealing with it is essential), translation and adaptation, to regular updating and maintenance of content, we see the big picture! Add to this the growing need to effectively deploy translated content resources in varying formats and different channels, a holistic strategy is imperative to assure the short and long-term success of your communications project.
We see ourselves as partners in helping our clients meet multiple communications goals. For some clients just beginning to internationalize or localize content related to their products or services, this means we can help establish frameworks, standards and processes as well as train in-house personnel to develop the capabilities necessary to help you succeed, substantially improving your organization's overall learning curve.
